High Consistency Rubber (HCR)
HCR rubber are silicone elastomers that have excellent heat resistance while still maintaining the properties of a low-temperature properties. While the main HCR is vinyl methyl silicones, spcialty HCR with fluro or phenyl groups are also developed to improve chemical or low temperature (down to -100°C) properties. ACSIC HCR could be cured either with peroxide or platinum via compression or extrusion.
